Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre

Williams Ross have been appointed to design a new $40 million sports and fitness centre for the Wyndham City Council. The centre will comprise of 12 indoor multi-sport courts, including a 1500 seat show court, 4 outdoor netball courts, gymnasium, creche as well as supporting facilities and a sustainable green car-park. The facility will provide for local basketball, netball, badminton, table tennis, volleyball and other indoor court sports sporting clubs as well hosting regional basketball events. Williams Ross are currently in the detailed documentation stage of the project.

 
Frankston Regional Aquatic Centre

Williams Ross have been appointed to designa a new $40 million aquatic facility for the Frankston Regional City Council. The new centre comprising a 50m lap pool, toddlers play, splash pad, water slides and supporting facilities including a wellness centre, will serve the local Frankston community and local aquatic sports clubs. The site provides an opportunity to be a landmark for the community with it's central location connecting major road junctions, Chisholm Institute of T.A.F.E, adjacent public transport and local recreation facilities. Williams Ross are currently in the detailed documentation stage of the project.

 
Frank Fenner Building and Climate Change Institute, Australian National University

Williams Ross are pleased to confirm that the Frank Fenner Building and Climate Change Building was officially opened on 24th October 2011.

The Frank Fenner Building is targeted at a 6 Star Accredited Green Star Building for both the design and as built assessment. The building utilises photovoltaic cells, hybrid natural/mechanical ventilation, rainwater collection and re-use, re-cycle material content, and re-cycled black water via central plant. The building stands proudly not only as a leading example for environmentally sustainable design but also as a valued addition to ANU's urban planning and community.

Palais Theatre Study

Williams Ross have been appointed to undertake an operational, business and facility planning study for the iconic Palais Theatre located in St Kilda. Williams Ross will be collaborating with four other practises, all with a considerable depth of experience in the cultural and performing arts field. Williams Ross will be undertaking the facility planning component of the study.

 
Warrnambool Entertainment Centre, South West Victoria

The Warrnambool Entertainment Centre Redevelopment is completed and had it's grand opening on the 21st April.
